History
The Miles-Odum Funeral Home was established in Waycross, Georgia in June 1955. John L. Miles, Jr. and Robert L. Odum joined forces in April 1958 to purchase the Hinson Funeral Home. The business continued to operate in the Hinson location until November 1961 when construction was begun on a new building. The new building opened on November 18-19, 1961. The funeral home was subsequently renamed in honor of its founding partners.
